Shirley Ann (Howarth) McNally

Shirley Ann McNally of North Brunswick, NJ, passed away December 20, 2017, while visiting her son, Christopher, in North Carolina. She was 82 years old. Born in New Brunswick, she had been a resident of North Brunswick for 56 years. Shirley had worked for 20 years as a Librarian for Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown. Shirley is survived by three sons and daughters in law: William & Cheryl McNally of Cream Ridge, NJ, Patrick & Leslie McNally of Raleigh, NC, and Christopher & Diane McNally of Willow Spring, NC. Also survived by two brothers and two sisters: Jerry Howarth of New Smyrna, FL, Leslie Howarth of Ormond Beach, FL, Cheryl Gerek of New Smyrna, FL, and Mary Ann Dodge of New Smyrna, FL, and seven grandchildren, Brian, William, Kendall, Connor, Erin, Katie and Carson, as well as many close friends. A funeral mass will take place Thursday 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown, NJ. Interment, Thursday 2:30pm at Brig General Wm. C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
