Nicholas Melillo

Nicholas Melillo of Highland Park, NJ passed away on August 20, 2026 at Brighton Gardens, Edison. He was 87 years old. Born in Newark, NJ he was a resident of Highland Park for over 59 years. Nicholas proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force. He was employeed by Lockheed Electronics as an Engineering Proposal Manager.
Predeceased by his parents John and Helen Melillo, Nicholas is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Mildred Melillo (née Collins); sons and daughters-in-law John and Mary Melillo and Nicholas and Mary Sue Melillo; and grandchildren Brianna Torres and Nicholas Melillo and Nicholas and Steven Melillo.
Family and friends will be welcomed Tuesday 9:00am to 10:45am at the Bronson and McNamara Memorial Home of Milltown, NJ. The funeral service will be celebrated at 10:45am at the funeral home followed by interment at St. Gertrudes Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
