~Jai Shree Krishna~ In Loving Memory of Maheshbhai Patel, 65, of Avenel, NJ, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Mahesh first came to America with his mother, 3 brothers, and sister in 1985. He lived in Scranton with his older sister and worked hard to build a life for himself. He then moved to Boston with his younger brother Rajesh to find new work opportunities and branch out from the family. In the winter of 1988, he traveled back to India with his siblings and married his wife Jagruti on January 21, 1988. Eventually, Mahesh moved to New Jersey with his wife in hopes of laying firmer roots and settling down and building a family and life of his own. His younger brother helped him get into business there and he bought a Convenient store in Woodbridge in 1995, which he worked at 26 years with his wife. Mahesh was a simple, religious and family-oriented man. He believed in working hard and always being there for family. Each member of his family can proudly vouch that he has always been there for them and always showed his love and support. Mahesh lived in Avenel with his wife and son Parth, which will always be his home. He loved his apartment would never want to shift anywhere else. He was lucky to have passed away peacefully in his home as was his last wish and to be surrounded by family and those who love him most. He will always be missed and will remain in our hearts.
