Henry Scardaville

–

Englishtown, New Jersey

Henry Scardaville, the creative soul and humble spirit, born on May 16, 1979, in New Brunswick, NJ, embarked on his final journey on July 31, 2026. Known affectionately as 'H' among his loved ones, he was a man of immense talent, his life a melody of art and music. The palette of Van Gogh inspired him, while the rhythm of his guitar resonated with his heartbeat. His artistry was not confined to canvas or strings; as a Printer and Shop Foreman, his impenetrable work ethic shone through. A pillar of the Yorketown Club, his thoughtful presence will be missed.

Henry was a complex tapestry woven from threads of life's vibrant colors and deep shadows. He was a man of complexity, yet he radiated simplicity. A lover of his town, Englishtown, and the people who made it home. A man of intelligence, shaped by the streets of Keyport and Parlin, NJ, yet never taking himself too seriously. His canvas was not only filled with colors but also laughter. He loved, and he loved deeply. His wife, Katherine, and his three daughters, Marianella, Lilian, and Cecelia, were his world.

"Art is to console those who are broken by life," Van Gogh once penned. And so, Henry lived his life, mending hearts through his music, his art, his laughter. His love for his community was palpable in the flyers he crafted, the shows he promoted. He became the voice of reason to his friends, a beacon in their lives. He faced his demons, a silent battle that he bore with a smile. He was, above all, a man of courage, of love, of laughter.
