Donald Caron

Donald Paul Caron of Milltown, NJ passed away July 3, 2016 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He was 83 years old. Born in New Bedford, MA, he graduated with a BA degree from St. Michael's College. He became a Brother in the Order of the Sacred Heart and took the name Brother Gilbert. He taught religion, world history, Latin, and biology in a number of schools in New England and last at St. Joseph's High School in Edison, NJ. Don had a keen interest in photography and was an excellent photographer who had his work publicly exhibited. He enjoyed teaching, cooking, reading, coaching, and taking long walks. He is survived by his loving sisters Doucilia Panella and Jeannette Pelletier and his beloved best friends Lois and Clancy Monaghan. Arrangements are private under the direction of the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.
